Most run on a standard 240V dedicated circuit and are designed for permanent indoor installation. Cedar is the common thread — it resists moisture, stays cool to the touch on the walls, and ages well over years of regular use. If you're deciding between infrared and traditional, the short version is this: traditional runs hotter, produces real steam when you ladle water, and is closer to what a Finnish sauna is. These units are built to be used daily and to last well past the warranty period.
